Refunds and Returns Policy

Overview

Important: Please contact us first at hello@carmenjean.com. Please let us know what the problem is, and await instructions from us. Please do not return the item to us until we have instructed you to.

Our refund and return policy is 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
Several types of goods are not eligible for return. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Other non-returnable items include:
Gift cards
Downloadable software
Downloadable products
Certain health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back us unless instructed to do so. 

Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your request is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a few days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank. It may take some time before your refund is officially processed on your account.
If you have done all of these steps and still have not received your refund after 14 days, please contact us at hello@carmenjean.com or Contact Us.

Sale items and ‘Seconds’
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items and Seconds cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange an item, please send us an email at hello@carmenjean.com or Contact Us.

Return shipping
If you need to return your product, you must first email us. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach us may vary depending on where you live.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may want to consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
